CARL SOFA
Design: Lazzarini & Pickering, 2018. Carl is a sofa built on essential geometric lines — versatile and intelligent, it can be expanded to suit different needs. Comfort is optimized by the tall back cushion, which can be removed to turn it into a single bed, an ideal day-bed. Its mirror-image counterpart is Claudio, at 300 cm long, allowing double or corner configurations. Both are named after Lazzarini & Pickering, who designed them for their own Roman home. Frame in solid and multilayer wood with elastic belting, upholstered in varying densities of polyurethane foam; cushion in expanded foam with a removable cover; stainless steel foot. Can be made in two parts to ease delivery. Customized sizes available on demand.
